In- person Arm Balance and Inversion Masterclass - Saturday 28 March at 2:30pm

90 minute masterclass at Fourth Monkey in Finsbury Park

In this 90 minute masterclass, we'll begin by moving through specific strengthening, mobility and flexibility drills that are chosen as they'll prepare the body for the arm balances and inversions to come.

Eimear will break down a range of arm balances step by step including some of the more basic ones up to the most challenging ones like flying pigeon, funky 1 legged crow, flying crow and more. And then you'll explore down how to do transitions between arm balances, ranging from easier ones like funky baby grasshopper to funky eight angle, to more challenging ones like flying pigeon to crow to flying splits.

We'll then move to our inversion practice on the wall and off! Expect to work on correct positioning on the wall, improving your line, building your endurance, learning and refining different shapes, training your balance, trying out leg movements, and learning new entries in both forearm stand and handstand!

Expect to work hard, listen to all the good tunes, and have lots of fun! If you love working on arm balances and getting upside down, this is the class for you :-)

Level for this class - You need to be able to step up the wall to handstand and forearm stand and hold on the wall for at least 20 - 30 seconds. If you can already balance in forearm stand or handstand, there will be plenty of challenging options for you!
